USS New Jersey BB-16 This is the ship Dewey Coy was on. This ship was used for target practice in 1923 and sits upside down on the bottom off Cape Hatteras. A new USS New Jersey BB-62 was latter built and served in WW-2. The USS New Jersey BB-62 is docked in Camden New Jersey and serves as a museum.
